Going where others fear to tread - New blog: “Even the Russian Army has given up”
So, while Fran is swimming forwards, I have perfected swimming backwards, neck out,maintaining eye contact and not drawing breath in my rush to tell her ALL my thoughts/news,(since the day before).
Fran is determined to get back to proper front crawl after months of keeping her head out of the water. This is impressive until the pain in the sinuses leads inevitably to the broaching-lobster. It was another seriously nippy start to the week for today’s swim - high tide and a turquoise sea is great but doesn’t quite make up for a bit of warmth. Hoping spring will show it’s face soon! 🤞🤨🌱
New blog: ‘Ice Cream Head’
It’s been a nippy old week but we’ve made it to complete week 46 ... and so we treated ourselves to a cuppa. (Living the high life 😆). Definitely looking forward to this bitter wind dropping and for the air temperature to improve... bring on a bit of proper spring! (Got ahead of ourselves saying it was 47 weeks when only 46.. now edited!)
